🇬🇧 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – VOLTRIDE

1. PURPOSE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the sale and provision of off-road electric motorcycle guided tours organized by Voltride. Any booking implies unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT TERMS

Bookings can be made online on our website or by phone.
Payment must be made at 50% at the time of booking.
Accepted payment methods: credit card and cash.
A booking confirmation will be sent by email after payment is received.
For self-service rental, full payment must be made before picking up the vehicle.

3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

By the client:

• Cancellation up to 96 hours before the tour: full refund.
• Cancellation between 96 hours and 24 hours before: a credit valid for 6 months will be offered.
• Cancellation less than 24 hours before: no refund.

By Voltride:

• In case of hazardous weather conditions (storms, heavy rain), Voltride may reschedule the tour or offer a credit valid for 6 months.
• In case of cancellation for internal reasons, the client will receive a full refund.

4. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

• Minimum age: 15 years with a valid AM license and parental authorization (accompanied by the legal guardian’s ID).
• Participants must be in good physical condition and have no medical contraindications.
• Voltride provides the mandatory helmet and safety gear, which must be worn throughout the tour.
• The use of alcohol and illegal substances is strictly prohibited before and during the activity.
• The guide reserves the right to exclude any participant who does not comply with safety instructions, without refund.

Rules specific to self-service rental:

• The renter must follow traffic laws and safety instructions.
• The motorcycle must be returned in its original condition, clean, and with all its accessories.
• Any delay in returning the vehicle will result in additional charges.

5. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

• Voltride provides electric motorcycles in perfect condition, covered by liability insurance.
• Each participant is responsible for any damage caused due to negligence (falls, improper use of the vehicle). See price list for potential damage.
• A deposit may be required before picking up the vehicle to cover potential damages.
• Voltride is not responsible for accidents due to recklessness or non-compliance with regulations.

Rules specific to self-service rental:

• A €1000 deposit is required before picking up the vehicle.
• The deposit can be paid via credit card hold or in cash.
• In case of damage, loss, or theft, the repair cost will be deducted from the deposit.
• If repair costs exceed the deposit amount, the renter must pay the difference.
• A repair price list is available upon request.
• Voltride covers rentals with liability insurance.
• The renter remains responsible for damages caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow safety instructions.

6. EQUIPMENT AND SAFETY GUIDELINES

• Each tour begins with a mandatory safety briefing.
• Helmet use is mandatory and provided by Voltride; additional protective gear is available upon request.
• Participants must follow traffic regulations and the guide’s instructions.
• Self-service rental: A safety rules reminder is provided before picking up the vehicle.

7. IMAGE RIGHTS

By participating in a tour, the client authorizes Voltride to use photos and videos taken during the activity for promotional purposes (website, social media, etc.), unless written opposition is expressed before the start of the tour or rental.

8. TERMS FOR SELF-SERVICE RENTAL DELIVERY

8.1 Availability and service areas
Voltride offers a delivery and pickup service for electric motorcycles within a defined area around San Miguel de Salinas.
Delivery availability depends on time slots and staff availability.

8.2 Pricing and payment
Delivery cost varies based on distance and the number of motorcycles delivered.
Rates are specified on the website.
Delivery payment must be made at the time of booking.

8.3 Delivery and pickup conditions

• The client must be present at the specified address at the agreed time.
• If the client is more than 15 minutes late, additional fees may apply, or the delivery may be canceled without refund.
• The client must check the vehicle’s condition upon receipt and report any issues before use.

8.4 Delivery cancellation and modification

• Any modification or cancellation must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Beyond this period, no refund will be issued.
• If delivery is impossible due to circumstances beyond Voltride’s control (weather conditions, roadblocks, etc.), a rescheduling or credit will be offered.

8.5 Client responsibility

• Once the motorcycle is delivered and accepted by the client, they are responsible for it until its return.
• Any loss, theft, or damage during the rental period will be charged according to the current pricing list.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

Voltride cannot be held responsible for cancellations or rescheduling due to events beyond its control: extreme weather, natural disasters, government decisions, etc.

10. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES

These GTC are subject to Spanish law. In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. If not resolved, competent courts will be those of Alicante province.
